Right of Withdrawal

Customers who are also consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Consumers are natural persons who enter into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly not attributable to their commercial or independent professional activity.

Start of Withdrawal Policy

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (19b Rue des Martyrs de la resistance, email: hello@maison-chouchou.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax, or email).
You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract.

We will use the same means of payment for this refund that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

End of Withdrawal Policy

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if their seal has been removed after delivery.
